When I found Sophie Kinsella’s characters, it’s like I found a heroine close to my heart: the girl next door, clumsy, over-sharing, loud and quirky. I mean, they are not as pornographic as a Sandra Brown novel, a staple in most Romanian houses (cause yey, communism!) Plus the covers were pastel and the back covers sounded amazing. I have read most of what was available in the kids section, so mom said no harm could come from me reading chick-lits. To understand my love affair with this book, we need to go back to when I had a chick-lit streak back in highschool. It just came out a couple days ago and ever since I first saw the trailer of this film adaptation of Sophie Kinsella’s book, I squealed so hard! I even set a reminder in my calendar, to not miss launch date. I just finished watching Can you keep a secret.
